Srikritha Kosuri
Meet Ms. Srikritha Kosuri
Srikritha Kosuri is an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science with intended minors in Bioinformatics and Math.
She has a deep interest in bioinformatics research and machine learning, and is dedicated to gaining more knowledge on computing tools for analyzing protein structural data. During the summer of 2026, Srikritha will be taking ITSC 3990, an independent study class, working on the evaluation of an automated bioinformatics workflow performance for pathogen analysis to guide treatment development.
Additionally, Srikritha is honored to have been selected as an OUR Research Scholar for Fall 2026. Under faculty mentorship, she will continue to work on pathogen analysis, using the HPC clusters for data cleaning, processing, visualization, and much more, building on her technical knowledge while testing and validating a pipeline that can aid in the development of new antibody-based treatments. Ultimately, she aims to have her own impact in the future of drug discovery and infectious disease treatment.
Srikritha enjoys drawing, painting, and working on small personal coding projects in her free time.
