Anastasiia Duchenko Awarded Travel Support for the GRADS-4C Research Symposium

We are delighted to announce that Anastasiia Duchenko has received a Travel Award to attend the upcoming GRADS-4C Research Symposium, focused on “AI and Digital Health: Potential, Promise, and Peril.”

The symposium, which takes place June 8–9, 2026, at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC, is hosted by the Genomics Research and Data Science Center for Computation and Cloud Computing (GRADS-4C) at North Carolina A&T State University. Anastasiia’s award will provide lodging support at the Sheraton Hotel adjacent to the convention center, facilitating her participation in this vital discussion on the intersection of computational data science, AI, and healthcare.

As a Teaching Assistant and researcher within UNC Charlotte’s Department of Bioinformatics and Genomics and the CIPHER center, Anastasiia’s selection for this award highlights her active engagement with cutting-edge developments in high-performance computing and genomic data science.

Please join us in celebrating this recognition and wishing Anastasiia a highly productive and inspiring experience at the symposium next week!
